From passion to purpose

Our Story

Old Soul Young World (OSYW) began as a podcast in 2021—built on real conversations and the belief that our stories hold power. What started as a platform for expression quickly evolved into a motivational mental health media hub, inspiring entrepreneurs, artists, and individuals to reconnect with their soul purpose.

Three people sitting on a leather couch with books and magazines spread on a rug in front of them. They are smiling and engaging in conversation. One person is wearing sunglasses, a beanie, and colorful sneakers; another has long curly hair and is dressed casually; the third person is wearing gold jewelry and a white top with a braid.
A woman with long, wavy brown hair wearing a blue and multicolored striped sweater layered over a light blue shirt, accessorized with gold jewelry including a cross necklace and hoop earrings. She is holding a smartphone with white earphones plugged in, standing against a plain white background. Part of a small table with a vintage teal camera and a vintage TV are visible in the lower left corner.

Created in 2023

Founded by CEO and host Jessie Elly, OSYW was shaped by lived experience. Growing up in a time when mental health wasn’t openly discussed, Jessie faced her own struggles in silence before choosing a different path—one rooted in honest communication, emotional awareness, and healing. In 2023, she officially built OSYW into a company, transforming it into a hub dedicated to redefining how we talk about mental health, success, and existence beyond the physical.

At its core, OSYW exists to highlight the reality behind success—the struggle, the resilience, and the breakthroughs that come from it. Through podcasts, live panel conversations, and storytelling, we amplify voices of those building, creating, and pushing forward despite what they’ve faced.

We believe in being timeless over trendy. In building generational impact through truth, not perfection. And in embracing the idea that our deepest struggles can lead to our greatest transformations—emotionally, mentally, and financially.

Today, OSYW continues to grow as a space where vulnerability becomes strength, and where real conversations create real change.

This is more than a platform—it’s a movement.
